That is why every tour on our website has its own clearly outlined price, based on the itinerary, duration, accommodation, services, and activities included.

How Our Pricing Works
Private Tours
Every adventure is private and tailored to your booking. We do not operate group-joining tours, so you travel exclusively with your own companions.
Per-Person Group Discounts
Our pricing is calculated per person, with the cost per Guest reducing as more people book together. Most package pages include a pricing table showing the applicable rate according to the number of guests in your private group.
Optional Extras & Equipment Hire
Additional experiences, services, and selected trekking equipment can be added to your trip at an extra cost. Depending on the service, these can either be included in your overall booking or paid for at the destination.
Private Tour Pricing
All our adventures are private tours, meaning your itinerary is reserved exclusively for you and your travel companions. Our prices are quoted per person and cover the essential services and arrangements needed for a comfortable, well-supported adventure.
Your per-person tour price includes professional guiding, meals, camping gear, park entrance and conservation fees, porters, and expedition support, along with other services required for the planned itinerary. This allows you to enjoy the experience without having to arrange the core logistics separately.
Basic & Premium Package Pricing
You may have noticed that some of our Mount Kenya trekking tours offer two pricing levels.
Basic Package
Our standard Mount Kenya package provides the services and camping setup outlined on the individual tour page. You get all the foundational services and gear needed to make a successful and enjoyable climb.
Premium Package
A premium Mount Kenya package gives you an enhanced camping experience at an additional cost. Apart from the foundational services and gear, you get:
Dedicated mess tent included with all premium setups
• A portable tent toilet
• Dining table and chairs
• A warming stove
Both package options are priced per person, with the applicable rate reducing as the number of Guests in your private group increases. This option provides extra comfort and convenience at camp while preserving the authentic experience of a Mount Kenya expedition.
Per-Person Group Pricing
Our pricing is designed to make private travel more affordable when you book together. The more guests traveling in the same private group, the lower the cost per person.
Every tour page includes a per-person pricing table showing the applicable rate based on the number of guests traveling together. This allows you to see exactly how the price changes as your private group grows.
The group pricing structure applies to both our Basic and Premium package options. Whether you choose the standard camping arrangement or upgrade to the Premium Package, you will benefit from the applicable per-person group rate.
Additional Activities & Services
Some experiences and services are available as optional additions and are not included in the standard tour price. These may include:
- Airport transfers
- Hot air balloon experiences
- Maasai village visits in the Maasai Mara
- Other optional activities and destination experiences

You can have selected extras calculated into your total trip cost and paid together with your booking, or, where applicable, arrange and pay for them directly at the destination.
Availability and pricing for optional activities may vary depending on the destination, season, supplier, and prevailing rates.
Equipment Hire
For Mount Kenya and Mount Kilimanjaro trekking adventures, the standard tour price does not necessarily include all personal, camping, or technical climbing equipment.
Guests are responsible for bringing their required personal equipment. However, selected camping equipment and technical climbing equipment can be hired locally for the duration of your trek, subject to availability.
Each package page indicates what equipment is included and what you should bring yourself. What you cannot bring, you can enquire about hiring with our team.
